Our guests have easy access to nearly two million acres of wilderness inside of tranquil, mysterious Algonquin Provincial Park. Despite being entirely off the grid, we still have hot showers, indoor plumbing, an outdoor wood-fired sauna, and a carbon-neutral hot tub.

All 17 bedrooms are a stone’s throw from immaculate, untraversed wilderness, as well as kilometres upon kilometres of cross-country ski, snowshoe, and dog sled trails. Again, while we don’t provide traditional winter camping in Ontario, adventurers can swiftly get swept away by the beauty of this flourishing, preserved land. And, because the lodge is run entirely on alternative energy, it will feel just like spending an extended weekend in the woods. In fact, your group will likely spot a variety of woodland critters during your mid-day travels, such as moose, white-tailed deer, and black bears.

As mentioned above, we specialize in cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and dog sledding during the winter months. We maintain over 60 kilometres of groomed Nordic ski trails to go along with a handful of snowshoe-friendly paths. But, of course, there’s an endless canvas of fresh powder at your disposal, including atop of our private, 30-acre lake.
