- Serving meals.
- Helping to clean all dishes.
- Preparing food shopping lists and driving into town to buy food and
supplies.
- Helping to keep lodge clean - once a day sweeping floors, cleaning
bathrooms, keeping the kitchen clean.
- Dealing with tourists questions about the area, wildlife, etc.
- When the Lodge is not busy it is expected that you will use your
initiative to do other jobs that constantly need doing, like painting, stacking
firewood, trail grooming, etc.

These are the ideal qualities we are looking for, but if you can meet
most of them we can provide some "on the job" training for anything you don't
have.
- You must be friendly and "in a good mood" all the time.
- Basic First Aid & CPR.
- You must be highly adaptable and be able to "think on your
feet".
- You must be a good cook.
- You must make a commitment to work from late June until mid
October.
- You must have a valid drivers license and having your own vehicle is
an asset, though not required.
- Language skills would be an asset.
Benefits:
- We are on a private lake, surrounded by forests, so there are a lot
wildlife viewing opportunities.
- Animals in our immediate area include beavers, wolves, bears, hawks,
chipmunks, deer, moose, turtles, and many small species of birds including
hummingbirds.
- Nice lake for swimming, fishing, or canoeing during the day.
- Spend a summer in the Canadian wilderness!
- Meet people from all over the world.
