Hiking at the Algonquin EcoLodge

With over 60km of trails inside Algonquin Park, the EcoLodge is a great place to come for hiking. Passing through mature forests, over rolling hills, around numerous beaver ponds, the hiking trails are a wonderful place to spend a few days on.

Hiking in Algonquin Park

On a day hike from the EcoLodge you will go through beech tree groves that have been repeatedly climbed by black bears. You will see trees that have been bored out by woodpeckers. You might even see a one of our many deer, or a moose. There are many signs of the abundant wildlife to be seen. And there is even the possibility of hearing a wolf howl off in the near distance!

And, after a day of trekking, you can return to the EcoLodge and go for a swim in our lake. Or, to really relax, have a soak in the outdoor hot tub or sauna, all the while overlooking the forests of Algonquin Park!
