Winter is a magical time at Algonquin Wilderness Eco-Lodge. We maintain
over 60 km of groomed and wilderness cross country skiing trails inside
Algonquin Park, giving us one of the largest trail systems in Ontario! If you
want an amazing wilderness skiing experience (with no crowds!) then come visit
us.
For a more casual pace of exploration, we have 3 dedicated Snowshoe
trails, and endless opportunites for making your own trails and "bush whacking"
with your snowshoes.
We also have very exciting Dog Sledding Expeditions that we run from the
Eco-Lodge. Imagine rushing through the wild forests with just you, your dog
sled, and your strong Huskies! This is an adventure you'll want to try!
- Polar Bear dip - After a hard day
on the trails you can always relax in our outdoor, wood heated hot tub or
sauna. And then, when you have steeled your nerve, you can join the adventurous
ranks of our International Polar Bear Club!
